Workshops

I host workshops on creative writing, Blackness, gender, sexuality, and healing—exploring the ways we imagine and build freer futures. Designed for schools, companies, and community spaces, my workshops are rooted in care and collective knowledge, inviting participants to engage with storytelling, reflection, and embodied practice as tools for transformation.

Creative Writing

Writing is a portal—one that allows us to remember, reimagine, and reclaim. This workshop explores writing as both a creative practice and a tool for transformation, drawing from Black feminist thought, speculative traditions, and personal narrative.

Black Feminism

Black feminism is more than theory—it is a lived practice, a lineage, a way of moving through the world with care and resistance intertwined. Through discussion, reflection, and creative exercises, participants will deepen their understanding of Black feminist frameworks and how they shape our present and future.

Gender and Sexuality

What does it mean to build a world where gender and sexuality are expansive, liberated, and deeply affirmed? Through dialogue, storytelling, and practical strategies, participants will gain tools to foster more inclusive, trans-affirming spaces in their workplaces, schools, and communities.

Speaking

Speaking

Transformation begins with conversation. I speak on gender, queerness, Blackness, and liberation—offering nuanced, deeply personal, and thought-provoking talks that challenge, inspire, and expand how we understand ourselves and each other.

From keynotes on trans joy and Black feminist resistance to fireside chats on decolonizing identity, my talks invite audiences into rich dialogue and collective reflection. Whether in classrooms, conferences, or corporate spaces, I leave audiences inspired to act.

Popular Talks

Transracial Adoption & Racial (in)Justice

In this talk, I offer a deeper understanding of the systemic forces behind transracial adoption, drawing from personal narratives and racial justice frameworks. Whether you're a caregiver, educator, or advocate, this conversation will challenge assumptions, spark critical reflection, and provide essential tools for supporting transracial adoptees with care and accountability.

Becoming an Active
Trans Ally

Allyship is more than just support—it’s about taking action. This talk provides practical tools to help you create a truly inclusive and affirming space for trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people in your workplace and community. We’ll cover the essentials: gender-neutral language, asking for pronouns, and navigating inevitable missteps with care.
